Voron – Cartier Place

Cartier place, or Shaughnessy Place was designed by renowned architect, Arthur Erickson in 1979.  A tranquil cascading building in a park like setting, our client purchased the suite in 2012 and completely renovated the space.  The original kitchen was a galley-style kitchen, all the walls were taken down to create an “open plan” living space. The kitchen cabinetry is by Modulnova Cucine – the model is “FLY”  – Pure Minimalism.  The cabinetry is white satin lacquer with a beveled door style and matching beveled countertops made from Nikron – a solid surface designed in Japan.

Project Details

Designer: ROOM8 Date: December 2013 Brands: Modulnova “FLY” in white satin lacquer with white “Nikron” countertops.

Before

The original kitchen was a dark, cramped, galley-style.  The client took down all the walls and created a bright open plan with high ceilings.

After

The new island has a “Nikron” countertop with beveled edges creating a clean minimal look.

Before

The cooking area needed a complete overhaul.  The old electric oven and bulky refrigerator took up much needed storage space and had to be replaced with integrated appliances.

After

A “Miele” induction cook-top, stainless steel range and stainless steel refrigerator were integrated into the millwork composition allowing for a pull out pantry which was the perfect solution for much needed storage space.
